Preheat oven to 180 ° C. In a large bowl, work the butter and sugar until smooth, stir in eggs and milk, beat vigorously until dough is smooth.
In another bowl, sift flour and baking powder, add salt, apples cut into 1cm/1cm, apricots and walnuts.
Stir into the cake dough. Let stand 10 minutes at room temperature. Meanwhile, grease and flour a loaf pan of 20 cm sides, pour in the batter, smooth the top and bake.
When the cake is cooked, unmold and let cool thoroughly on wire rack.
Do not forget to remove the butter from the fridge 2 hours in advance and work with an electric mixer.
In order to get a lighter cake, do not work the dough too.
