Having a good cellar is no trifling matter!

Whether you live in a house or an apartment, you should have a well-insulated cellar if you wish to age your wine, but if you do not have one, why not opt for an electric wine cellar?

Four golden rules for a good cellar :

1- obscurity, to avoid the alteration of wine due to sunlight,

2- a humidity level of 70% ideally, otherwise your wine may evaporate through the cork,

3- the right temperature, between 12 and 14°C. Wine does not cope well with drastic temperature changes which may alter or stop its natural evolution.

4- laying-down horizontally, for the wine to keep the cork moist – it must not become dry.
