Our estate comprises 66 hectares of vines spread over our magnificent castle from 12th Century. We produce a full range of fine and precise wines. We have both light, crispy but also more complex and powerful wines, both in AOC Bergerac and AOC Côtes de Bergerac.
Built during the Fourth Crusade era by the English, Chateau de Panisseau lies not far from Bergerac, in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre (Purple Perigord), some 5 kilometers east of the Bordeaux wine producing region. Carefully preserved by the different owners, it has been magnified by the Grimoard de Panisseau, Alba and later on the de Laur family.
The Chateau offers two completely renovated luxurious bed-and-breakfasts in the heart of the vineyard, accommodating 6 to 8 persons. Set on a 107-hectare site with a vineyard, this B&B offers a heated and seasonal outdoor pool and a hammam.
